The key can sometimes be elusive, but it is there.
It’s a rather simple concept.
Only you can make the first move.
Something to ponder.
Having a few close friends is better than having a million acquaintances.
Yesterday was a sad visit to the nursing home. Mom found out her favorite resident, Ruth, had passed away on Monday. The visit before mom hadn’t been there because she was out of town. She had told Ruth she would miss that one but promised to bring her back some chocolates from her trip. Much like mom, Ruth had a sweet tooth.
Mom did pick up the chocolates and was holding on to them for the 22nd visit. She had to wait two weeks from the time she got back until that day and had thought about popping over to give them to Ruth before that, it just didn’t happen. Of course hindsight is 20/20, but she does wish that she had taken a few minutes to go bring them over.
Mom didn’t buy any chocolates for herself so maybe this was Ruth’s way of telling her she should eat them. I don’t know, but I do know Ruth will be greatly missed. I hope this post reminds people why you shouldn’t put off what you can do today until tomorrow.
This one is for you Ruth. Woof! ♥

Have a great weekend.
You either have or you don’t. Do you?
Isn’t everything in life about how you view it?
